1 tin of Pilchards ( I’m using the hot chili)
1 small onion chopped finely...
2 fresh garlic cloves chopped finely
1 egg

1 cup of dry bread crumbs ( very important or your Frikkadel will fall apart .
3 slices of white bread quickly soaked in water , squeeze out water .
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley or coriander .
Some oil for shallow frying .
Method .
Remove the fish from the tin and seperate the sauce from the fish – put the sauce one side .
Now mix all your ingredients together by hand . Allow to sit for 5 minutes .
Now shape the Frikkadel as seen in picture . Shallow fry on medium to high heat till brown on both sides .
Remove and plate – drizzle over the sauce and serve . Delicious
