PEPPADEW-EN-HOENDERGEREG

Bestanddele:
1 ui, gekap
olie
6 hoenderborsfilette
125 ml peppadews, gekap
3 sprietuie, gekap

halwe rooi soetrissie, in blokkies gesny
250 ml (1 k) hoenderaftreksel
5 ml (1 t) bruinsuiker
sout en gemaalde swartpeper na smaak
250 ml (1 k) room

Metode:
1. Soteer ui in olie tot sag. Skep uit en hou eenkant.
2. Sny filette in skyfies en braai in olie tot net goudbruin. Voeg ui weer by.
3. Voeg peppadews, sprietuie, soetrissie en aftreksel by en prut 15 min oor lae hitte.
4. Roer bruinsuiker, sout, peper en room by. Prut oor lae hitte vir 5 min.
5. As sous te dun is, kan 5 ml mielieblom op ‘n slag met water tot ‘n pasta aangemaak en bygevoeg word. Prut tot sous begin verdik.
6. Sit warm saam met rys of koeskoes voor.
