Cherry Tea Loaf

Cherry Tea Loaf
115g butter or brick margarine
225g self-raising flour
60g Huletts White Sugar
2 large eggs

50ml milk
50g chopped glacé cherries
1. Rub the butter or margarine into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs.
2. Add the sugar and mix.
3. Beat together the eggs and milk. Add together, with the glacé cherries, to the flour mixture and mix to a dough. 
Spoon the dough into a tin and bake in an oven at 180ºC for about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Turn out onto a wire rack and cool.
