Energy Bars recipe
Ingredients:
• 25g butter or margarine
• 60ml Illovo Traditional Syrup...
• 50g pitted dates, chopped
• 75g sesame seeds
• 75g sunflower seeds
• 75g Brazil nuts, chopped
Method:
1. Grease a baking tray.
2. Melt butter and add syrup, stirring until boiling.
3. Stir in dates thoroughly to a smooth mixture.
4. Add in seeds and nuts and turn out onto prepared baking tray.
5. Refrigerate until firm enough to slice into bars. Store in fridge.
