Mosbolletjies / Aniseed rolls
Ingredients
4&1/2 cups of self raising flour ...
125 grams of butter
2 eggs
1 sachet of instant yeast ( 10 g)
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of Aniseed
1 teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoons of oil
1 cup of warm milk
Method
Rub butter into flour , add the rest of the ingredients and mix till a soft dough is formed . No need to knead , simply shape into round balls , place on a greased baking sheet , egg wash or brush with a little milk and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown , remove from oven and brush with melted butter .
