Egg bread




Egg bread
Ingredients
4 cups of flour...
1 sachet of yeast - 10 grams
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
3 large eggs
1 egg for egg washing
70 grams of melted butter

1&1/2 cups of warm water/ or just enough to make a sticky dough .
Method
Mix all ingredients together to form a ball - dust surface with flour and knead for 8-10 minutes . Cover and put one side to rise - will take about one hour . Knock down the dough and and divide into 3 balls - roll the balls to make 3 long 30 cm and make a plat / vlegsel , place in a greased pan or line with baking paper . Allow to rise in oven at 80 deg C - when double in size remove the dough and egg wash with brush - up the temperature to 200 deg C and bake bread till golden brown. .
Allow to rest before slicing . Delicious .
