Idees met Kekertjies/Chicpeas

Gooi sous af en spoel af met water. Gooi in bak met so eetlepel olyfolie, bietjie paprika, sout, peper, en fyngemaakte knoffelhuisie. Meng goed. Gooi in oondpan en sprei uit sodat dit net een laag in oondpan lê. Bak 180 grade vir 30 min of tot bros en goudbruin. Dis heerlike snack buitkenat bros, kinders mal daaroor. Die hele tekstuur van die ertjie verander. Is ook lekker om bietjie chilli by te gooi as jy ietsie ''warmer'' soek. eet net so.

Quick and Easy Hummus (recipe hub)
Ingredients
• 1 can chickpeas
• 2 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 clove garlic, minced

• 2 tsp olive oil
• 2 tsp cumin, ground
• ¼ tsp paprika
• ½ tsp salt
• parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions
1. Drain the chickpeas, reserving ¼ to ½ cup of the liquid.
2. Combine all ingredients except parsley in blender.
3. Purée until smooth, adding chickpea liquid if needed to thin the puree.
4. Refrigerate for 3 - 6 hours before serving to blend the flavors.
5. Garnish with parsley before serving.
6. Serve with vegetables, pita bread or as a sandwich spread.
