Paint Chip Teacher Gift

Paint Chip Teacher Gift – {Back to School}

Using paint chip samples in crafty ways instead of just throwing them away or recycling them are a great way to make use of the beautiful array of colors that paint companies put together on swatches of paper to help us choose just the right shade of color for our projects!
Making a paint chip teacher gift is unbelievably easy. Once you have the supplies on hand, it literally takes about 1 minute, and costs about $1!
This craft just uses a bundle of pencils and two paint chip swatches tied together with twine.
You Will Need...
pencils, twice, double sided tape, scissors, paint chips
Instructions
# 1You simply bundle pencils together, put a strip of double sided tape on the inside edge of one side of the solid paint chip, and wrap tightly around pencils. Then, cut a 1.5 inch lengthwise strip from the striped paint chip and repeat the process (put a strip of double sided tape on the inside edge of one side of the strip) and then wrap around the solid strip of paint chip that is already wrapped around the pencils and secure firmly. Add a piece of knotted twine and your teacher craft is done! OPTIONAL: I ran the striped piece of paint chip sample through a crimper to give it extra texture, but that’s definitely optional.
