Sausage bredie




Sausage bredie

Ingredients

Lamb sausage cut into pieces ...
2 onions chopped finely
6-8 potatoes peeled and cut into small cubes
Salt and black pepper .
3 whole chilies


Method

First fry / brown your sausage in a Pot with no oil and add 2 tablespoons of water - remove sausages .

Now add your chopped onions in the sausage fat( if it's too much fat - remove half) and fry till brown / dark brown, add a bit of water to allow onions to cook a bit for 10 minutes , now add your potatoes , half a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of black pepper , stir fry for a minute and add a cup of hot water and allow potatoes to boil for 5 minutes . Now add your sausages and cook on medium heat until potatoes are soft and tender . You may add some baked beans as well .
