4 cups of cake flour
300 grams of room temperature butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 teaspoon of ground cardamom
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Pink scented musk sweets
Method
Cream the butter and sugar together for a few minutes , add the eggs one at a time , add the vegetable oil and mix further - sift together all dry ingredients and add and mix by hand till a dough forms - ensure that this is done very quickly - .
Cover dough with cling wrap and let it rest / chill in fridge for 10 minutes -
Roll out the dough on a floured surface , take a fork and scrape the dough lightly up and down and across to make for a rough edgy look and cut out with a round cookie cutter , and place on a greased cookie tray . Press the pink musk scented sweet in the centre of each cookie . Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges turn a golden brown in a preheated oven at 190 deg C.
