You’ll need:
Ivy plant (choose small-leaved ivy for the best effect)
Terracotta pot
Wire coat hanger
Thin garden wire
25 cm length of garden cane
Compost
How to:
1. Straighten out the hook of the coat hanger and stretch out the triangular shape. Create a V-shaped notch in the bottom and bend the wire into a heart shape. Attach the cane to the straightened hook using garden wire.
2. Plant the ivy in the terracotta pot, then push the cane into the compost and wind the ivy stems around the frame. Use short lengths of thin wire to secure the stems as necessary. Water well.
