2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 ½ cups brown bread flour
1 ½ cup maize meal...
2 cups oats
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 cups beef stock made with 2 cubes

1 cup full cream milk
1 packet oxtail soup
1 cup oil
1 desert spoon crushed garlic

1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees C.
2. Combine, in a big bowl, the flours, meal, oats, soup powder and salt.
3. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients.
4. Knead about 3 minutes. Add more milk if necessary. The dough should be stiff.
5. Flour a board with cornmeal and roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.
6. Cut out biscuits with cookie cutters in appropriate shapes, and place on greased cookie sheets.
7. Bake the biscuits for 45 minutes at 150 degrees C.
