Lavender Syrup



Lavender Syrup
Ingredients
Makes 4 cups
•2 cups sugar...
•2 cups water
•2 tablespoons lavender


•a few blueberries (optional for additional colour)
Make it!
1.Add all of the ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring to dissolve the sugar.
2.Turn down the heat to low and let simmer for another 10 minutes.
3.Turn off the heal and allow the syrup to cool.
4.Once cool, stain the lavender buds and blueberries then pour through a coffee filter lined strained to remove any particles.
5.Pour into a vinegar bottle using a funnel and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.



Sparkling Lavender Lemonade
Mix 4 parts soda, 2 parts lemon juice, 1 part lavender syrup and serve over ice.
