Chocolate Brownies




Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients
250 grams of butter melted...
5 eggs
2&1/2 cups of caster sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
1 teaspoon of salt
1&1/2 cups of sifted cake flour
1 cup of sifted good quality cocoa powder

1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda
2 cups of milk chocolate chunks or chips
1 cup of white chocolate chunks with rice crisps ( milky bar with rice crispies)
1 cup of chopped nuts
Method
In a large bowl beat your sugar with the melted butter for about 2 minutes , next add your eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition , add your vanilla , baking soda and sifted flour and cocoa powder and whisk just enough until all ingredients are well combined , next fold in the rest of your ingredients and pour into a square tin that's been lined with grease proof paper , spread it out evenly and bake in a preheated oven on 180degC for 40 minutes or when you see the top shiny and starting to crack . Remove from oven and cool in pan for about an hour . Cut into small squares or rectangular shapes . Dust with icing sugar .
Serve with a good helping of vanilla ice cream while brownies are still hot or on it's own while it's been cooled . Decadent , delightful.
