SHORTBREAD




2 c Heaped Flour
1/2c Castor Sugar
250g Butter/Margarine
1T Heap Maizena
Pinch of Salt
...
Melt butter until soft - not oily. Add castor sugar & beat well. Stir in flour, maizena & salt. Knead well.
Press into al pan and prick all over. Bake at 160C for approx 45 mins. Cut into fingers while hot and sprinkle with castor sugar.
