Traditional Beef Stew with Oregano





    
      
    1 Onion, chopped  
    1 Tablespoon Oil  
    500 Gram Cubed beef  
    1 KNORR Hearty Beef Stew Cook-in-Sauce  
    350 Millilitre Cold water  
   75 Gram Green beans  

    100 Gram Carrots, cut into chunks  
    4 Potatoes, peeled and chopped  
    10 Millilitre Chopped fresh origanum

      
1.       Sauté chopped onion in oil, then add meat and brown.  
2.       Mix sachet contents with 350 ml cold water.  
3.       Pour sauce over browned meat and bring to the boil, stirring often.  
4.       Cover and simmer for an hour or until meat is tender.  
5.       Add the beans, carrots and potatoes 25 min before the end of the cooking time and simmer until vegetables are tender.  
6.       Stir through chopped origanum.
