Foil packet Beetroot


Make as needed
INGREDIENTS
Beetroot raw
Oil
Herbs of your choice
Garlic chopped
Onion sliced
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Feta cheese
Tin foil
INSTRUCTIONS
Peel the beetroot like a you would a potato and cut into quarters or leave whole.
Place each beetroot on 2 layers of tin foil with the garlic, onion, salt and pepper.
Pour oil over each one and seal completely.
Place in the coals and let cook for 30 minutes until tender and soft.
Once done open foil and sprinkle with the feta cheese.
NOTE:
It is easier to peel the raw beetroot before hand.
This can also be done plain with no oil or herbs, which can be put on when serving.
