Boerewors stew



Boerewors stew

Prep Time : 15 minutes ...
Cooking Time : 15 minute
Serves : 4
Serving Suggestion : Serve with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
1 onion
canola oil, for frying
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 Tbsp turmeric, ground

350g Grabouw boerewors
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 pinch dried chilli flakes
1 Tbsp dried oregano
1 Tbsp organic tomato paste
1 400g tin organic Italian chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup organic beef stock

Cooking Instructions

1. Slice the onion and fry in hot canola oil with the cumin, smoked paprika and turmeric.

2. Cut the boerewors into bite-sized pieces and brown with the onions.

3. Add the garlic, chilli flakes, oregano, tomato paste, chopped tomatoes and beef stock. Simmer for 15 minutes and season
