Lamb Malay Curry





 
15ml Oil  
1kg Lamb, cubed  
1 Onion, chopped  
15ml Crushed ginger  
5ml Crushed garlic  
10ml Cumin  
10ml Coriander  
5ml Turmeric  
15ml Curry powder  
2 Tomatoes, chopped  
1 KNORR Chicken Casserole Cook-in-Sauce   
600ml water  
4 Potatoes, peeled and cubed  
1 Pinch Salt and pepper to taste  
1 Tablespoon Fresh coriander to garnish

 

1.    Heat oil in a frying pan and brown lamb.  

2.    Remove lamb from the pan and set aside.  

3.    To the pan add onion, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric and curry powder and cook for 1 minute.  

4.    Return the lamb to the pan and add tomatoes.  

5.    Mix sachet contents with 600 ml water and add to the lamb.  

6.    Simmer for 35 min.  

7.    Add potatoes, season to taste and simmer until cooked.  

8.    Garnish with fresh coriander.
