Hot Cross Scones























Makes : 10 Hot Cross Scones

INGREDIENTS
500 g Golden Cloud Scone Mix
60 ml oil
175 ml milk
1 egg
250 ml raisins
10 ml mixed spice
100 ml icing sugar, sifted
10 ml water

INSTRUCTION
Preheat oven to 180˚C. Grease a baking tray.
Prepare Golden Cloud Scone Mix according to the instructions on the pack.
Mix in the raisins and mixed spice.
Roll out dough to a 5 cm thickness.
Cut the dough into squares and place onto a greased baking tray.
On each square score a cross.
Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Combine the sifted icing sugar and water to form glacé icing.
Adjust consistency with more icing sugar or water, if needed.
On the cooled hot cross scones, trace the cross with glacé icing.
