Basic Iced Tea

This is the most basic of iced tea recipes and can be used as the base for many variations of iced tea when you feel like experimenting.

Ingredients: 2 quarts Water (4 cups) 8 tea bags ½ cup Sugar


Method: Bring 1 quart of water to a boil. Place the tea bags in a large pitcher, and pour the water over the tea bags. Allow to steep for 8-10 minutes. (10 minutes is best, no more though as the tea will become bitter.) Remove the tea bags and add the sugar. Stir until dissolved. Add in the remaining water and mix. Place the tea in the refrigerator to chill. Serve chilled over ice and garnish with a slice of lemon or lime....
