Ginger Iced Tea

Ingredients: 1 quart of Water 5 Black tea bags 1 inch piece of fresh Ginger ¼ cup Sugar, to taste


Method: Bring the water to a boil. Peel and slice the ginger thinly, then crush it. Bring the water to a boil and pour over the tea bags. Add the crushed ginger. Allow to steep for between 8-10 minutes. Strain out the ginger along with the tea bags. Add in the sugar and stir until dissolved. Chill before serving over ice..
